JANUARY 2026 OPEN

New NightCup

Hello beloved Community !

We are planning another NightCup!

It will take place on the weekend of the 22nd and 23rd of January!

The SignUps will be open till 22nd of January 17:00 CET!

The procedure will be as follows:

If we again only have a handful of Teams the Cup will be played on SUNDAY this time. (Starting time for this not sure yet sry)

If we have a lot of Teams we will play on Saturday and Sunday! (starting time for this on saturday 20:00 CET)

This is only the first notice! There will be a lot more with all the infos u need !

P.S. I would love some comments on the Subject of loser brackets! U want Loser Brackets or not? I ll gladly read any suggestions as long as they are in a decent manner ! Also help me with the Sunday start time .. 18:00? .. do u guys go to work on mondays? if not we can start at 20:00 !

Loser brackets are generally a bad idea. A lot of teams will have to wait for 1-2 teams to finish their games delaying the cup with 1 weeks. Not worth it imo.

Also a lot of people have to wake up early on Monday so I suggest you start the cup earlier.

i want the loser brackets, many teams are getting 6 ppl and want to play more than 1 game... maybe first game vs 9L so its just 2:0 fucked up and bye. more games more fun

if you just say; no loser brackets because some teams perhaps have not enough players for a 2nd game you dont even need to start this nightcup.

20 CET is too late on Sunday.

You can have a loser bracket, but don't connect it to the winner bracket. The loser bracket final will be for third place in the tournament. That way the teams who get knocked out early get to play some more games but it doesn't delay the "main" tournament.

I think more people will be able to play if its on saturday instead of sunday, because some people need to get up early on monday :) But good initiative! :D
