Skulk animations look great. Hopefully they're implementing or/and expanding on the NS1 walljump acrobatics. Not sure how I feel about marine sprinting.

CATALYST (?) + MARINE SPRINT + SG = IMBA FAST SG RUSH!
Looks nice but some model movements are still a big laggy. Why didnt they release e.g. the alien rt model yet and marine turrets? (both shown in the video)

We put all that footage together within a day, was pretty mad. It gets really low fps in places especially in my map bits (skulk shooting parts) because there's 0 optimization yet in any part of the game.

I hope the mousement move is like that because either the marine was TERRIBLE/USING A TOUCHPAD/USING A 1$ SHITTY TRACKBALL.
That and, it looks, as aliens are right now and marines are right now, that bunnyhop wouldn't do anything bad to the game. (watching both running).

Alien model looks great.
Didn't liked marines, they look a bit stupid, just a bit.
Guy who was recording marine video definitely can't aim...

i dont like that sprint but everything else looks sweet since you can run just as fast pointing the gun forward!!! so it makes no sense

You dont need to be progamer to aim although if he did aim while recording (no demo features) it would explain the lulness.

Why would they change the movement at all .. NS movement stuff is very nice it takes some skill and stuff...
It is nice to make the entrance to the game easier and stuff but still let there be some wigleroom for the competitive ppl who will like to learn special movementtricks(like dbljump at rine)
.. so what i am saying is NO SPRINT FFS !

still to me he looked faster than the current gorge even with cele
i mean a gorge should only be able to outrun a rine with cele and bhop.. otherwise gorge is to easy !

They probably haven't kept the movement the same because the half-life engine's quirks are difficult to reproduce?
Anyway you all know this is going to be a fucking failure

I reckon no other post-HL game has had the "same feel" to physics, so I wouldn't have high hopes for NS2 either.
And I agree, the movement is the good thing about ns.

"the movement is what made this game so special"
couldnt agree more it leaves room for unique play styles and diffrent stages of skill not like
thats exactly why i dont like counter-strike...*cough*...anymore

only hopefully to a much lesser degree. Not that its a bad thing, I'd rather have more players and partially shitted up gameplay that looks awesome than continue with something that wont bring in the players.
